| Christian Parobek is a Maternal–Fetal Medicine and Clinical Genetics fellow at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed medical school and a PhD in genetics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brown University. Dr. Parobek’s clinical interests focus on prenatal diagnosis, fetal anomalies, and the integration of genetics into obstetric care. His research explores the genetic contributions to perinatal conditions such as hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and other pregnancy-related disorders traditionally attributed to environmental or obstetric factors. He is particularly interested in expanding access to prenatal genetic evaluation and improving collaboration between obstetricians, neonatologists, and genetic specialists to better diagnose and manage complex fetal conditions. |
